Hi! My name is Cam, originally from the UK and I have been living abroad since 2022. Since then, I’ve lucky enough to travel to destinations I had only dreamed of when I was a kid. I thought that starting this blog would be a good way of sharing my own personal travel stories, mixed with travel tips to help people on their own journeys.

I moved to Australia in 2022 to complete my bachelors degree in Perth, where I spent an amazing year adapting to a new, laid back, sunny lifestyle. Of course, as a person who comes from England where we seem to live our lives under the clouds (mostly), you can imagine I was over the moon with my new opportunity.

My travel journey began in a University gym where I got talking to another English student who came to Australia for the same reason. He mentioned that he wanted to travel from the south of Vietnam all the way to the north by motorbike or train. I had never even considered travelling like this before or to Vietnam, but after a few more conversations I booked a one-way ticket to Saigon. I didn’t know at the time, but this would be the start of a long travel journey that has now become a huge part of my life.

Since then, I’ve motorbiked through Vietnam, Laos & Thailand, hiked through mountains in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong & Australia, enjoyed the beaches in Japan and have spent a considerable amount of time residing in South Korea.

This has led me to new career goals and aspirations, and little did I know that creating this blog would be the start of it all.
